Mission

The world-leading Italian fresh pasta company RANA launched its new WINTER EDITION concept with two seasonal flavors for fresh-filled pasta – Mushroom & White Truffle and Gorgonzola D.O.P. & Walnuts.

EKPR was tasked to elevate the RANA WINTER EDITION range through a well-thought-out activity closely connected with RANAS values. The purpose was to inspire media, journalists, Influencers, and Swedish consumers to experience the news from RANA. The goal was to drive sales in-store and on the food market online and to create brand awareness both in lifestyle- and food magazines and social media.

During our press days for Winter 2022, we presented the new flavors in an open kitchen to attract all senses. Chef Claes Justander served the guests two delicious recipes of both versions.

All the guests were also gifted with the two new fresh-filled pastas flavors, as well as recipe cards to cook at home.

In addition to participating in the event, we wrote and sent out a press release and an inspirational newsletter about the news to relevant media.

Results

The press coverage resulted in wide visibility in relevant industry and consumer media, a reach of 699 114 accounts in social media and several press clippings in high reputation food press.
